Ike Richman Communications led all Philadelphia-area publicity surrounding The Roots Picnic move to The Belmont Plateau featuring Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, The Roots, and many others. The event generated immense publicity. Ike Richman Communications coordinated a press conference with the Mayor’s Office in Philadelphia, Police Commissioner, Office of Emergency Management and Live Nation Urban to review all safety protocol and to preview the new location. The company also brought The Roots to FOX 29’s Good Day Philadelphia for a live in-studio appearance.
